Identity Management State of Readiness and Health Check services

These are short consultancy engagements designed specifically for clients who are about to commence or are in the early stages of an Identity and Access Management programme.

State of Readiness
is designed to help to ensure that the programme is fully and accurately equipped and informed in respect of the following categories
in order to start - and remain on course
  • Drivers for change from business, security and compliance are fully defined and agreed
  • Programme is aligned with technology and business strategy
  • Solid commitment is assured from all sponsors
  • Business understands scope of process analysis and potential re-engineering
  • Success criteria defined and signed off
This service may also provide assistance with vendor, SI and product selection.

The State of Readiness service helps the client to focus effectively on understanding the particular challenges that will face them arising from the relevant dynamics within the organisation - structure, governance, culture and the challenges of business process re-engineering and delivery. Invariably it is these factors - and not technology selection - which affect the progress and successful achievement of the major milestones, particularly in the earlier programme phases.

Health Check is suitable for a programme that has already commenced but would benefit from an independent reassessment of the above key factors and also an evaluation of the progress to date and major risks and issues.

The service engagements are tailored
individually to fit with each clients' requirements but will typically comprise
  • Understanding of programme drivers, goals and key requirements
  • Interviews with sponsors, key stakeholders, business and application owners
  • Analysis of programme impact on existing process and technology
  • Briefings relating to relevant technologies, vendor products and previous experience
  • Reports and presentations of findings and recommendations
The service engagment will typically comprise 10 - 15 days consultancy with on-site visits as required.
